Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations to assess patient health status.

- Perform gastric lavage and administer injections as necessary, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Engage in utilization review processes to optimize patient care and resource management.
- Educate patients about their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with specialists in gastroenterology and hospital medicine to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay informed about advancements in physiology knowledge to enhance patient care practices.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
- Experience in a teaching hospital or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in performing physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations.
- Knowledge of gastroenterology practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
