Job Description: As the Night Auditor, you will serve as a steward of the Doctor Sax House guest experience during overnight hours, ensuring a seamless continuation of the property’s elevated service standards. Equal parts gracious host and meticulous operations professional, you will be responsible for maintaining a calm, secure, and welcoming environment while performing end-of-day restocking (bar, server prep station, etc.), table setting, laundry, kitchen prep, and other needed services. This is a vital role within our team, embodying the spirit of refined hospitality and personalized care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a warm, professional welcome and personalized assistance to any late-arriving or early-departing guests.
• Perform nightly bar procedures: including wipe-down, restocking
• Perform nightly server procedures: resetting of tables, laundry (napkins, etc.)

• Monitor property security and conduct periodic walk-throughs to ensure guest and property safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the common areas, with an emphasis on breakfast service.
• Manage overnight communications including guest calls, email inquiries, and concierge requests.
• Provide discreet and responsive service for any special requests, room service, or in-room amenities.
• Coordinate seamlessly with morning staff for smooth shift transitions and continuity of service.
• Assist with early breakfast/coffee set-up or light housekeeping tasks as needed to uphold our high-touch environment.
• Support property operations with a solutions-oriented mindset and commitment to excellence in all details.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a luxury hotel, boutique hospitality environment, or high-touch guest service role preferred.
• Proficiency with hotel management software (PMS), point-of-sale systems (i.e. Toast), and Google Suite.
• Impeccable attention to detail, organizational skills, and discretion.
• Warm, gracious demeanor with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently during overnight hours.
• Flexibility to assist with additional responsibilities or occasional extended hours as needed.
• A genuine appreciation for artful design, storytelling through hospitality, and elevated service.
