Job Summary:
Strategically plans, implements and participates in outreach efforts designed to improve relationships within the healthcare community in designated service areas or market. Primary efforts are targeted toward EMS Services, but community groups and other potential impatient and outpatient partners will be included, with the goal of growing business opportunities and maximizing referral and redirection opportunities. Monitors outcomes and participates in performance improvement activities.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum two (2) to Five (5) years of recent EMS and/or clinical hospital emergency service experience preferred.
- Recent healthcare liaison or equivalent experience preferred.
- Must be able to deal appropriately with highly sensitive and confidential material.
- Must have knowledge of standards and laws applicable to EMTALA, planning, and business development.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, team facilitation and project management.
- Strong organizational skills to include metrics management, independent scheduling and record tracking.
- Ability to maintain a mature, professional manner and demonstrate sound judgement when interacting with patients, physicians, hospital personnel, and the public.
- Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to DHL Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.
- Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet and database.
- TX licensure/certification as an EMT, Paramedic, LVN, or RN preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a Health related field, preferred.
