What you'll do
The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong background in Workday and other HR systems, with a particular emphasis in Workday general HCM, business process framework, and reporting. In addition, you should demonstrate excellent time-management and the ability to clearly communicate and present information.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Enterprise Applications - HRIS.
Responsibility
- Design and deliver future-ready Workday solutions to help the company to optimize the HR functions and enhance the employees’ experiences
- Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating the Workday cloud application with external applications across a wide array of HR functions, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
- Support applications and solutions in user and application directory management, user on/off-boarding automation and account provisioning in compliance with company policies
- Design, build and support testing of Workday Extend applications and Workday integration code base including Studio, EIB, CCW, PECI, PICOF and supporting 3rd party coding
- Identify and raise risks timely and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary
Job Designation
Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

What you bring
Basic
- Bachelor of Engineering/Technology degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related area or equivalent
- 8 years of experience development with 5 years in Workday implementation and support
- Workday experience using Cloud Connect for Benefits, EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, Studio and extend
- Experience with using the Java Development Kit (JDK) to write, compile, and debug Java code for Workday Studio integrations and extend applications
- Solid hands on experience with REST and SOAP API’s
- Hands on experience with multithreading techniques to improve the performance of complex integrations in Workday Studio
Preferred
- Hands on experience configuring in Workday general HCM, business process framework, and reporting. Experience in other functional areas of Workday
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and relationship building skills
- Experience with iCIMS ATS
- Experience in supporting Workday works with internal/external applications/databases and other vendor applications
- Experience working with HCM Functional leads for solving integration issues
