General Description/Purpose
The Human Resources Information System Manager will act as the technical administrator and internal expert for HRIS systems. Provides technical system support to our Domestic and Global HR shared Services, including implementation, business process configuration, tenant configuration, data loads, report writing, integration design and management, security administration and upgrade planning/testing.Essential Job Functions
- Performs HRIS administrative functions including implementation of new modules, security maintenance, business process configuration, tenant configuration, data loads, user management, integrations, feature testing and upgrades.
- Provide day-to-day system support in configurations, security, reports, dashboards, and troubleshooting.
- Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Advise users on how to best use system functionality to automate workflow and troubleshoot user issues.
- Create, maintain, and support a variety of reports using appropriate reporting tools. Assist in the development of standard reports for ongoing team needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by performing audits, running queries, and analyzing data.
- Partner with IT to build new and maintain existing integrations; maintain related requirements and documentation.
- Manage projects and collaborate with internal/external customers on events such as benefits open enrolment, etc.
- Performs a variety of other related tasks, as required.
- Education and/or experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Human Resources or related area and minimum of 5 years of HRIS or related experience required.
- Experience in software implementation projects.
- Established understanding of HRIS technology and their applications within a business, including design, structure, functions, processes, and analytics.
- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and operations.
- Strong project management experience, analytical and able to solve data discrepancy issues, excellent attention to detail.
- Lead mid to large deployments and resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
- Ability to work well with others, individually and teamwork.
- Experience presenting project updates to Executives
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Excellent organizational skills, the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner, and the ability to work under strict time deadlines.
- Excellent written/verbal communications skills, presentation skills and ability to explain complex processes.
- Experience working with data analytics tools.
- Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database, and other applicable software programs.
- Workday HRIS experience required,
- System configuration, report writing, integration management and Project Management
