What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant to RSVP position at Dodge City Community College?
Under the direct supervision of the RSVP Director, the Administrative Assistant to RSVP will assist with all aspects of the programs and office with emphasis on clerical, receptionist and related duties.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- To understand and commit to the Mission of the College ~ Dodge City Community College provides a student-centered learning environment where students can achieve their educational, personal, and career goals.
- Assist RSVP Director in recruitment and orientation and placement of RSVP volunteers.
- Establish and maintain a positive relationship with RSVP participants.
- Assist RSVP Director in all aspects of program including but not limited to special events, trips and other activities involving RSVP.
- Maintains thorough knowledge of RSVP regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain Grant Reports, Reimbursement Files, and Program statistical information files to fulfill audit and review requirements.
- Assist with preparation of the newsletter and update of the website and other media resources.
- Provide telephone counseling and support for RSVP participants.
- Other duties as assigned.
