Perform and provide a variety of Help Desk support and answer Help Desk phones / emails.Troubleshoot issues reported by end users and escalate to alternative staff when needed within the IT ticket system.Reset user account passwords per request after employee verification.Analyzes and troubleshoots problems reported by computer end users, which include variety a of applications, remote VPN access, login credentials, printers, procedures, software, and hardware trouble countywide.Remotes to end-user devices to troubleshoot problems with hardware and software, when requested.Receives, notifies, and shares cybersecurity concerns from end users with authorized IT staff and leadership for incident response.Provides assistance with IT support for hardware and application used by local and remote users across multiple sites.Purchase a variety of hardware equipment and software maintenance and support for multiple departments.Process, document, and assist with procurement, contracts, accounts payable, budget monitoring, for IT and County-wide servicesRequest mobile devices and associated equipment, per County leadership approvals, and manage County-wide service providers accounts and account payable.Purchases a variety of hardware equipment and software maintenance and support for multiple departments.Provides administrative support.Continuously process transaction and invoices for a variety of departments, including vendor communications and department approvals to purchase pre-approved IT hardware and software.Request and acquire vendor quotes for County IT and department leadership analysis and approval.Gather and process IT contracts and agreements upon review with IT and County leadership.Provides support to all County computer and other electronic device users as needed.Other duties as assigned.REQUIRED JOB COMPETENCIES
Knowledge of the principles, concepts, capabilities, and operations of hardware, data storage devices and peripherals.Knowledge of current technological trends for midrange, client / server, and personal computer information systems.Knowledge of the various operating systems utilized by the County.Knowledge of network, application, and data security systems.Knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting techniques.Skill in troubleshooting and resolving computer hardware, software, and peripheral problems.Skill in installing and configuring computer and printing equipment.Skill in assisting customers with computer-related problems.Knowledge of administrative policies and procedures of the County.Knowledge of current office practices and procedures and knowledge of the operation of standard office equipment and software.Ability to establish and maintain accurate records of assigned activities and operations.Ability to interpret and implement local policies and procedures; written instructions, general correspondence; Federal, State, and local regulations.Skill in organizational and time management to prioritize duties to accomplish a high volume of work product while adapting to constant changes in priority.Ability to perform detailed work accurately and independently in compliance with stringent time limits requiring minimal direction and supervision.Ability to think quickly, maintain self-control, and adapt to stressful situations.Knowledge of computer software including word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications consistent for this position.Ability to perform mathematical calculations required of this position.Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively in English in both written and verbal form.Skill in researching and understanding complex written materials.Ability to prepare and maintain accurate and concise records and reports.Ability to apply sound judgment and discretion in performing duties, resolving problems, and interpreting policies and regulations.Ability to communicate detailed and often sensitive information effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing.Ability to handle sensitive interpersonal situations calmly and tactfully.Ability to maintain professionalism at all times.Ability to maintain effective working relationships with individuals within and outside the organization.Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding business-related files, reports, and conversations, within the provisions of open records laws and other applicable State and Federal statutes and regulations.PHYSICAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Education
Associates of Information Technology (required)
Experience
Information Technology office and technology support experience with an emphasis on customer support, office accounting, and financial procurement. (preferred)
Fingerprinting is required. Criminal background and local records check, including the Department of Transportation and NCIC / CIB wants / warrants database. (required)
Experience with Microsoft, and mobile and computer operating systems. (required)
1 years : Experience in database, web, or application support or other related IT experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience which provides necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered. (required)
Salary : $29 - $32
