Summary of Job Purpose
The Theatre Attendant’s primary responsibility is to sell tickets and concessions to guests of the Pinecrest Theatre. The position is responsible for supporting the goal of providing a high-quality experience for our guests, which is well-organized, efficient, and staffed with a well-trained and guest-friendly team. This position also helps with the overall presentation and light housekeeping of the facility. This position is a KEY member of the Dodge Ridge Team.

Each day you will have specific work to perform which includes the following:
- Help prepare the theater and concessions in a timely manner before opening time.
- Provide effective and appropriate communication skills in alignment with company culture with all levels of employees and guests.
- Sell tickets and food items from the ticket/concession booth.
- Uphold good health and safety practices
- Give accurate information concerning the movie schedule.
- Assist with screen team and movie projection
- Use of POS System.
- Requires you to clock yourself in and out properly.
- Comply with daily cash handling procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Somewhat unpredictable circumstances will determine how much of your workday will involve these types of activities. Many of these tasks may require some manual labor.
- Maintaining clean workstations.
- Sweeping or washing down the outside of work area.
- Picking up litter.

- Ability to work with others, be well groomed and present a good public image. Ability to work with a diverse public and to provide quality customer service.
- Ability to communicate well with others, both verbally and written. Must possess strong conflict resolution skills.
- Must possess a general knowledge of accounting principles.
- Ability to effectively use computers for data processing and records management. Must possess skill in using computers and other office equipment.
- Possess the ability to multi-task, work independently, troubleshoot, and prioritize.
- Maintain safe working habits at all times and strict adherence to the Dodge Ridge Safety Policies.
- Ability to lift heavy objects with weights up to 50 lbs., and to perform routine cleaning tasks.
- Good manual and physical dexterity and good physical fitness.
- Be punctual, honest, trustworthy, and possess good judgment.

Work Schedules
Weather conditions and the number of guests planned in the theatre have a great deal of influence on the scheduling of theatre employees. When conditions are normal, you can expect to work up to 20-30 hours a week. During busy periods, you may be expected to work overtime if needed. You can expect to work most weekends and holidays when the campgrounds are open, evening shifts. Theater hours are in the evening but could require extra hours in special circumstances. You must arrange for transportation to work so that you arrive at your workstation at your scheduled time.
