Do you love the water and have strong leadership skills? We’re looking for a Waterfront Director to lead our aquatic programming and lifeguard team at our overnight summer camp located on beautiful Pinecrest Lake. This is a seasonal leadership role perfect for someone passionate about safety, teamwork, and giving campers a summer to remember. June 27th - Aug. 9th
What You’ll Do
- Oversee all waterfront activities, ensuring camper and staff safety at all times
- Supervise and schedule a team of certified lifeguards
- Maintain water safety standards and respond to emergencies if needed
- Communicate with camp leadership to coordinate swim times, boating, and water-based special events
- Ensure that equipment is maintained and safety protocols are strictly followed
- Lead or assist in waterfront staff training and daily check-ins
What We’re Looking For
- Prior lifeguarding and supervisory experience (waterfront experience strongly preferred)
- Current lifeguard certification (or ability to obtain before start of camp)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm, alert, and positive in a high-energy camp setting
- Passion for working with youth and creating a safe, fun camp environment
