Responsibilities
- Develop a complete understanding of all OVC - OHIO VALVE COMPANY valve products
- Maintain a working knowledge of all relevant customer issues, pricing and billing procedures, and collections status.
- Remain knowledgeable of company’s products, market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies.
- Develop and maintain lasting industry relationships with current clients and prospects
- Grow product acceptability with major market End Users and EP&C companies within a geographical region
- Required overnight travel within all the geographical regions throughout the US.
- Ensure quotes and orders are done in a timely manner, meeting deadlines from sales team and customers
- Remain attuned to market trends and competitor activity
- Maintain current knowledge and job skills - advising management of any training needs
- Report on activities, progress, market information, and new ideas
- Integrate into local trade organizations and professional associations
- Always project professionalism and promote the company’s established reputation in the marketplace
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Personal Attributes)
- 7-10 years of experience selling Technical Valves, Industrial Valves, and value-added products and services
- Team Managerial skills in the Valve Industry
- 5 years of experience calling on PVF Distribution, EP&C’s and OEM’s to gain Valve Acceptance and Approvals
- Demonstrated achievements in Valve Sales Growth
- Ability to develop and nurture long standing relationships
- 5 years of project management experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, professional image
- Strong organizational and time management skills; able to work in a virtual setting with minimal supervision.

- Positive professional attitude at all times
