Overview:
We’re seeking a passionate and nurturing Infant-Toddler Teacher with a love for music to join our early childhood education team. In this role, you’ll create a warm, stimulating environment where music plays a key part in promoting cognitive, emotional, and social development. Through rhythm, song, and sound exploration, you’ll help our youngest learners build foundational skills and foster a lifelong love of music.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement age-appropriate activities that incorporate music, singing, and movement.
- Use musical instruments, songs, and rhythm-based play to enhance sensory and motor development.
- Foster language development through music, including nursery rhymes and repetitive melodies.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment that supports each child’s emotional well-being.
- Encourage social interaction and teamwork through group music activities.
- Build strong relationships with families and provide regular updates on their child’s musical and overall development.
Qualifications:
- Clean background check
- HighSchool Diploma
- CDA (preferred)
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience working with infants and toddlers in an educational setting.
- Musical skills such as singing or playing an instrument are preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development, with a passion for using music as a teaching tool.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
