What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Attendant position at Dog Boarding and Training?
We are a dog boarding and training facility located an hour from Houston, Texas. We are looking for an experience, dependable, self-starter, organized, hard-working, mature individual with reliable transportation to join our team.
MUST be able to work weekends and holidays.
MUST be able to work any shifts between 8am to 8pm
Duties include but not limited to:
- Cleaning, mopping, sweeping dog kennels and runs, feeding and refilling water bowls
- Cleaning cat kennels and bird cages
- Informing manger of animal’s unusual behavior
- Bathing dogs as needed
- Folding towels
Education and/or Experience:
- Animal/Dog experience a plus
- Ranch Duties and Farm work a plus
Minimum Qualifications (or skills and knowledge):
- Understand and follow instructions/directions
- Ability to report to work ON TIME!!!
- Must be able to work on your feet in a fast paced environment and outside
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Must have dependable transportation
