POSITION DETAILS
Job Title: Front Desk Associate
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $20-$24 per hour (based on experience) tip shares ($1-$3/hr additional, after training)
Schedule:
- Tuesday – Friday: 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM
- Saturday: 8:45 AM – 5:15 PM (Saturdays are required)
- Overtime available but not mandatory
- Minor schedule adjustments possible for the right candidate

RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service & Front Desk
- Greet and check in pet clients for their spa appointments
- Book and manage grooming appointments
- Answer phone calls and assist customers with inquiries
- Communicate estimated finish times and check out clients at pick-up
- Recommend services and suggest retail products to pet owners
Retail & Inventory Management
- Oversee daily operations in the Boutique and Grooming Salon
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels
- Receive and process wholesale deliveries
- Merchandise, stock, and organize retail products
- Assist customers with product selection, including dog clothing fittings
Salon Operations & Support
- Help oversee the timely completion of spa services
- Assist in the Self-Wash area when needed
- Maintain a clean and appealing retail floor appearance
- Stay knowledgeable about pet-related products and industry trends
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent customer service skills – professional, friendly, and proactive
- General computer literacy and typing proficiency
- Ability to handwrite clearly and keep detailed, accurate notes
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs safely
- Comfortable working around animals and getting a little dirty
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Clear background check required
- Saturday availability is mandatory
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience in appointment scheduling
- Background in veterinary, grooming, or animal care
- Customer service experience in pet retail or boutique settings
- Knowledge of merchandising and inventory management
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) software
- Strong ability to work in a team environment
