Job Description
The Sales and Customer Solutions Representative role at Doggett is focused on promoting the sales of service, parts, and whole-good attachments as a customer solution. The ideal candidate will build long-term relationships within their territory to maximize company profitability and assist in market share growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell machine maintenance and repair services, parts, hoses, oils, extended warranties, preventative maintenance agreements, whole goods attachments, and other management-approved products
- Maintain technical knowledge of Doggett's products and services, providing technical assistance where applicable, including Service Advisor and My Dealer Portal
- Utilize the Customer Relation Management tool (HANDLE) to document, track, record, follow-up, and capture all related sales activities
- Prepare written quotes and estimates for customers and coordinate service calls with the Service Department process, including Modern
- Promote sales of Loyalty Parts, all other parts sales, and Parts Department promotions as directed by the Parts Manager
- Complete machine follow-up forms and enter them into the Deere Portal
- Obtain CSA Certification through JDU in the first year and complete continued education training
- Keep current on product knowledge, features, and benefits of all marketed products and services, including allied products
- Actively promote the John Deere Rebuild/Re-Life program to eligible customers
- Maintain accurate information for all customers in the assigned territory, as directed by the Manager
- Maintain awareness of all parts and service competitors
- Assist in the collection of accounts receivable for assigned accounts
- Lead machine support issues with customers and manufacturing partners
- Understand and promote JD Link, managing subscriptions and promoting renewals
- Manage customers' undercarriage systems through periodic inspections and replacement guidelines
- Collaborate with the Sales Department for new machine deliveries to customers and perform machine inspections on lease units prior to maturity
- Lead and promote the use of the Doggett My Dealer Portal to customers
