We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and the ability to handle various types of breeds with confidence and care. This role involves providing essential support in a pet care environment, ensuring the well-being of animals while maintaining a clean and safe facility. Person hired for this job must have a strong work ethic when it comes to attendance, being on time and willingness to help and fill in for others if needed. Team player is a must!
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for animals.
- Handle and restrain animals if needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of animal enclosures and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns to the management team.
- Engage with pet owners in a professional and kind attitude.
- Cleaning is included in the job whether cleaning bathrooms, sweeping, mopping or on hands and knees cleaning crates.
Experience
- Previous experience in animal handling or care is plus but will train.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
- A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare is essential.
