About the Role: We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team at Doherty | The Employment Experts. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for administering compensation programs, maintaining position descriptions and classifications, and managing the performance appraisal process.
Your Responsibilities:
- Administer all Safety/OSHA programs and Workers' Compensation
- Act as liaison between employee, supervisor, and management during grievance process
- Administer company benefits plans
- Write Affirmative action plan / EEO-1 reports
- Maintain good rapport with applicants, employees, management, and outside agencies
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or three years of related experience or a similar combination of education and experience
- Complete understanding of various HR programs and employment law, including benefits eligibility, FLSA, Workers' Compensation, OSHA compliance, unemployment claims, and safety procedures
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy
