Responsibilities
The Automation Technician will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and repairing custom electromechanical equipment, automated work cells, vision systems, and multi-axis robotics
- Analyzing and troubleshooting complex systems to identify areas for improvement
- Developing and implementing technical activities to enhance production processes
- Communicating effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Designing and developing robotic programs to optimize operational efficiency
- Providing training and support to other technical staff members
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A two-year post-high school diploma or certificate in a technical trade, or a high school diploma/GED with four years of related automation experience
- Familiarity with electrical and pneumatic schematics
- Knowledge of PLC programs and their applications
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Technical expertise in manufacturing processes of mechanical systems
