Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for providing production support in all aspects of the Dole quality process. This includes performing quality checks such as bag seal, oxygen level, proportions, bag weight, raw materials check, and finished goods check. You will also verify equipment accuracy, maintain reports and system log entries, and complete food safety checks to meet all critical control points. Additionally, you will place and remove 'Hold' statuses as required for raw, in-process, and finished goods.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require previous experience in a food processing facility. Good oral communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You must be able to lift up to 10 pounds unassisted up to one-third of the workday and 6 pounds overhead as job demands. Constant standing on a concrete floor, reaching, bending, stooping, and repetitive hand movements may be required. Moving machinery, including conveyor and forklifts, will be present in the immediate area. Ability to work overtime as needed and some weekends are required. A High School Diploma or GED is also required.
