Company Overview
All members of the HR Modernization team play a pivotal role in shaping the future of HR practices within Dollar General. This position entails a multifaceted approach, including the identification of gaps in HR policies, the implementation of business process improvements, and the establishment of efficient HR workflows aimed at fostering innovation within the Dollar General Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Human Capital Management (HCM) systems. There are two specialized roles that will be focused on one of the following modules:
Organization Development & Learning, Sr. Manager
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Organizational Development and Learning & Development teams, along with HR Generalist teams across Store Support Center, Retail, Distribution, and Fleet to ensure cohesive and collaborative design.
• Requirement Management: Ensure Development Programs, such as succession planning & development programs requirements are accurately captured and configured in the HCM system to meet organizational needs.
• Learning Automation: Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to capture and automate learning plans and computer-based learning (CBLs), ensuring streamlined and efficient processes.
• Embedded Learning: Ensure the consistent application of systematic learning across the HCM platform to support user education, awareness, and adoption.
Job Details
- Ensure execution of HR Modernization activities against the project timeline in partnership with vendor partners and business stakeholders.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with the key stakeholders (business verticals, consulting partners & deliverable owners) and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and priorities, fostering alignment between HR modernization efforts and organizational objectives.
- Transform HR processes and policies to be more efficient, responsive, and aligned with organizational needs, and emerging industry trends, in partnership with HR & Business Partners.
- Oversee system integration efforts and ensure smooth transition and adoption of new technologies.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of HR Modernization initiatives, identifying potential risks and implementing corrective actions.
- Stay updated on external market trends, new technologies, technology trends and competitors to bring innovative solutions to meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in HR modernization initiatives, business process improvement, and ERP/HCM system optimization.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading complex projects from inception to completion.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex problems, develop innovative solutions, and drive results.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Ability to achieve measurable results through collaboration and influence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource or Business, Information Technology, Organizational Management, or related field preferred.
- 6 years of related experience required with progressively increasing responsibilities.
