Senior Logistics Analyst - Reporting and Analytics

OverviewWe are seeking a manager for our Supply Chain division who specializes in reporting and analytics. This role is integral to the ongoing development and execution of our company's supply chain reporting and analytics strategy. The ideal candidate will leverage retail and supply chain data, AI, Machine Vision, and Machine Learning solutions to drive supply chain optimization.ResponsibilitiesPerform analytical tasks, including data gathering, analysis, visualization, and data- driven storytelling for project justification and innovation. Present findings using Powerpoint or PowerBI to stakeholders, effectively communicating complex data to non-technical audiences.Work cross-functionally to understand business problems / questions, translating these needs into analytic techniques, and delivering actionable insights.Improve supply chain processes and performance through information gathering, root cause analysis, data interpretation for process and equipment evaluation, analysis, and recommendation of changes for productivity optimization. Develop long-term improvement strategies that align with management goals.Collaborate with supply chain, store operations, merchandising, and other departmental leadership in the development and deployment of reporting and process improvement initiatives. Work with IT, finance, and other support functions to remove constraints, justify investments, and implement solutions that improve service and reduce expenseAbility to quickly identify potential drivers of emerging problems, through root cause analysis methodologies and generate solutions that address performance and process metrics.Proficiency in developing predictive modeling and exception-based management solutions.Capable of writing queries in SQL, DAX, Python, R, or other data analysis tools.Highly proficient with data visualization tools like Power BI, Looker, etc.Experience in the design and development of relational databases.High-level written and verbal communication skills, including data design and BI best practices.Experience on cross-functional teams with the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously.Demonstrated experience in analytics, process development, and problem-solving. Preferably in supply chain focus areas.QualificationsBachelor's degree in supply chain management, data science, computer science, or related field.A minimum of 4 years of experience in data & analytics preferably in a retail supply chain environment.The preferred candidate will also : Have experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and be familiar with development of control tower capabilities.Knowledge of process conformance and exception-based management.Experience in centralizing data and enhancing existing reporting and performance dashboards.
