Our client is a is a leading designer, marketer, and manufacturer and is seeking a SEC Reporting Senior Analyst to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepares quarterly consolidated financial statements and periodic and quarterly SEC filings (8K, 10Q, 10K, etc.).
- Responsible for share-based compensation and equity accounting and disclosure
- Responsible for ASC 842 lease accounting
- Performs technical accounting research and implements new accounting pronouncements.
- Assists with coordination of annual audit and quarterly reviews with internal and external audits
- Prepares annual Proxy and materials for annual Shareholder meeting
- Collaborates with internal audit to improve SOX control environment
- Teams with control owners to improve documentation around the performance of controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; master’s degree preferred
- CPA preferred
- 3 years of relevant accounting experience (Public accounting / SEC Reporting)
- Strong accounting skills, including knowledge of US GAAP, SEC and financial statement presentation
- Advanced experience with Excel
- Fast learner with the ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to research, solve problems, and take initiative to recommend process improvements
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
