Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares quarterly consolidated financial statements and periodic and quarterly SEC filings (8K, 10Q, 10K, etc.). |
- Responsible for share-based compensation and equity accounting and disclosure |
- Responsible for ASC 842 lease accounting |
- Performs technical accounting research and implements new accounting pronouncements. |
- Assists with coordination of annual audit and quarterly reviews with internal and external audits |
- Prepares annual Proxy and materials for annual Shareholder meeting |
- Collaborates with internal audit to improve SOX control environment |
- Teams with control owners to improve documentation around the performance of controls. |
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; master’s degree preferred |
- CPA preferred |
- 3 years of relevant accounting experience (Public accounting / SEC Reporting) |
- Strong accounting skills, including knowledge of US GAAP, SEC and financial statement presentation |
- Advanced experience with Excel |
- Fast learner with the ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment |
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented |
- Ability to research, solve problems, and take initiative to recommend process improvements |
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills |
