Dolphin, Inc., is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic that will be required to keep all production machines, systems and equipment throughout the facility in optimal operating condition. Perform Preventative Maintenance and assist production operators as needed with machine job set-up. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment as needed.
Shift:
This is a full-time position (40 hours a week), 4 nights a week.
Monday – Thursday 4:00PM – 2:30AM

YOU WILL:
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical equipment, including but not limited to, large gas fired equipment, Boilers, HVAC, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrical and Control systems.
- Develop, fabricate, install various changes to machines as needed to improve operational performance or correct operational deficiencies.
- Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
- Install electrical conduit, air and chilled water piping for machinery and equipment.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance inspections to identify and correct equipment malfunctions, repairs and replacements.
- Provide assistance to assemble, test, and maintain company equipment.
- Propose improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
- Adapt to various maintenance situations and work in all major production areas in a maintenance capacity.
- Maintain a professional courteous manner with all vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Follow and ensure compliance with quality system.
YOU HAVE:
- High school diploma, GED, or technical school certificate, plus a minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance, commercial HVAC service or a related field, with a working knowledge of 480 volt 3 phase power.; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- The knowledge and ability to maintain, troubleshoot and repair various types of industrial machines and have basic welding and fabrication skills.
- Ability to read and understand electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic system prints and schematics.
- Understanding of metal fabrication processes: Sheet Metal, Machining, Welding
- Ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints.
- Knowledge and the ability to use small hand tools.
- An intermediate level of computer literacy, including MS Office: Outlook, Word and Excel; and Internet browsers.
