What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chefs de Partie / Line Cooks position at dōma restaurant?
dōma is a modern Italian restaurant located in Wynwood.
We are a team of highly dedicated people very motivated with the goal of improving and better our standards.
Knowledge of cuisine and fine dining techniques are required.
We offer very competitive salary, based on each candidate experience. The right Chef de Partie candidate should start around $55/60,000 and after a period of time variable between 2 and 6 months can quickly reach $70/75,000 a year salary.
After the the completion of 1 year of work, we offer 2 weeks vacation paid every year.
Job Description:
- Work efficiently with speed necessary to meet the demands under pressure
- Work area or station designated by chef producing quality food items as dictated by recipe or standard
- Adhere to appropriate plate presentation specified per dish
- Keep work area clean and maintain sanitation standards
- Maintain proper food handling at all times
- Set up and break down the work area depending on scheduled work shift time
THE REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge and skills in Italian Cuisine and Fine Dining preferred
- Culinary education or degree preferred
- Resourceful, clean and well organized work habits with attention to detail
- Personable, outgoing, energetic team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to think quick on your feet and multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Full time availability required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fine dining restaurants.
Salary : $55,000 - $75,000
