Service Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to join our team. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our automotive service department. This is a leadership role that requires strong mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of service technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality workmanship
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Schedule appointments and allocate resources to meet customer demands
- Maintain accurate records of service orders, repairs, and warranties
- Collaborate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of required parts and materials
- Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize profitability
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in automotive repair techniques
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience in automotive service management or a related field
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems
- Knowledge of auto body repair, suspension, shocks, struts, and other automotive repair areas
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Proficient in service writing and auto estimating
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve performance goals
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
