Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced CT/X-Ray Tech to join our team at Dominican Hospital. As a key member of our imaging department, you will contribute to delivering high-quality patient care and drive medical advancements through innovative imaging techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate advanced imaging equipment, including Siemens Sensation 64 and GE 16 Light Speed scanners
- Ensure accurate diagnoses and optimal patient outcomes
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Develop and maintain expertise in CT and X-Ray imaging modalities
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- Active BLS certification
- ARRT-CT and ARRT-R certifications
- Fluoroscopy certification
- California state license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in CT and X-Ray imaging
Working Conditions:
Shifts involve 10-20 scans per day, with evenings being the busiest. Work 8-hour night shifts with a float rotation to ensure adequate staffing. Utilize Cerner and McKesson PACS EMR systems and collaborate with a team of radiologists.
