Job Duties Include:
- Work within clients homes to assist themselves or their family with defining the goals in the least restrictive environment to foster personal growth.
- Develop relationships with family members, become invested in the clients' future and become an advocate for their client
- Work with the client's community service providers, teachers, principals, lawyers, probation officers and psychiatrists
- Provide crisis intervention services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (child and crisis-level services only)
- Track all individualized service plans and paperwork
- Manage paperwork and meeting deadlines
- Attend staff meetings and communicating with supervisors
- Discuss updates, progress and concerns with supervisors on a weekly basis
- Coordinate with community service providers
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree with a concentration in psychology, social work, human services, special education or counseling; Masters degree preferred but not required
- Minimum 1 year experience working with individuals with a mental health diagnosis
- Clean driving record
- Basic computer and documentation skills
- Flexibility
