SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work with our Recruitment Team, Human Resources Department, and hiring managers for the Fredericksburg and NOVA areas to deliver all aspects of the talent acquisition process including, sourcing, qualifying, interviewing, assessing, extending, and closing offers.
Partner with schools, colleges, unemployment offices, etc., to build strong candidate pipelines
Ensure that staffing needs are being met with a long-term strategy in mind
Implement sourcing strategies, such as an employer branding initiative, to build pipelines for potential applicants
Implement end-to-end hiring processes to ensure a positive experience for candidates
Form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear expectations for candidates and interviewers
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with internal teams and hiring managers to assist with recruitment efforts.
- Assist with both external and internal hiring efforts (internal recruitment meaning assessment of employees for different or more senior roles.)
- Screens and refers qualified applicants to hiring managers. Follows up to obtain feedback regarding overall experience (from candidates and hiring managers).
- Identify and source appropriate talent for current open roles within the organization
- Identify future talent needs and proactively recruiting and sourcing; develop talent pool or social engagements.
- Manage the recruitment process and life-cycle, including initial assessments, interviews, and offers.
- Use social media, job boards, Internet sourcing, and other technical means to source candidates for open jobs.
- Maintain college and other civic employee partnerships
- Use sophisticated applicant tracking systems and other recruiting software to track applicants through the selection phase through to on-boarding.
- Processes job requisitions
- Schedules and attends job/career fairs with appropriate staff to generate qualified applicants.
- Works with HR team to maintain employee engagement programs for employees with the goal of improving the employee experience and reducing turnover.
- Researches, analyzes, prepares and presents hiring and statistics.
- Maintains records on recruiting activities as required.
PREFERRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- Must be 18 years old

Account/territory management, relationship building, excellent communication skills
Two or three years of experience in a talent acquisition or similar role
Experience in full-cycle recruiting
Proficiency with MS Office, really and LinkedIn
Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Experience with Paycom a plus
