What are the responsibilities and job description for the Consultant Psychologist - Savannah position at Dominion Medical Consulting?
Dominion Medical Consulting is seeking a licensed clinical or forensic psychologist (PsyD or PhD) to assist in Mental Status evaluations and psychological testing for claimants seeking disability benefits in Georgia. This is an independent contractor, 1099 position with predominantly in-person availability, but some telehealth may be available as well.
Examinations are low risk. You would not be responsible for ordering any tests or medications. There is no follow-up, and no on-call. Right now, there is enough work to support a couple of days per month in the region. This is a great moonlighting/side-gig opportunity, but not full-time. Work will be contracted out on an as-needed basis. Set your own schedule and work on only the days you determine.
We are primarily seeking someone who is available for in-person testing for both adult or pediatric claimants. Generally, claimants would be scheduled for a Mental Status Exam and one of the following psychological tests:
- WAIS
- WISC
- WMS
Pay is per assessment. MSEs alone would be scheduled for 60 minutes ($100) and MSE IQ or WMS would be scheduled for 90 minutes ($150). You must have experience performing some of the above tests to be considered. We do not have any training available at this time and this is a mostly autonomous position, so experience is a must. If you have experience with the testing, but do not have access to the testing materials, we can provide this for you.
