What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apartment Porter position at Domus Management Company?
We are currently hiring for a Full-time Porter for a Senior apartment community in Chico, CA. Applicants MUST have apartment porter experience.
We are looking for applicants who have the following skills:
- MUST Have prior porter or janitorial experience
- Apartment Cleaning experience
- Customer service experience
- Possess a can-do attitude
- Is self-motivated to work hard and do a good job
- Is honest and dependable - Can arrive to work on-time
- Has the ability to work as a team
- Ability to work in an outside environment
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures without fail
Daily duties/responsibilities include:
- Picking up trash
- Mopping & sweeping
- Cleaning all common areas (Includes: laundry rooms, rental office, hallways, restrooms & community rooms)
- Sanitize all common surfaces at beginning and end of shift - doors & door knobs, hand rails, entry gates, laundry machines, mailboxes, etc.
- Power washing sidewalks, trash enclosures, parking lot, walkways, regularly
- Cleaning out trash enclosures
- Maintaining the property curb appeal
- Assisting with Cleaning vacant units as needed
- All other duties as assigned
Compensation Includes:
- Hourly Pay Rate = $19.00 per hour
- 40 hours per week = Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
