Summary
We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team at Don Franklin Glasgow. In this role, you will be integral to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our accounting operations.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Maintain financial records by entering data into accounting software and databases.
- Reconcile statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies or issues related to financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting team as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role in an automotive or dealership environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger entries.
- Solid grasp of financial concepts and reporting practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
