IT Support Technician (Bilingual English/Spanish)
Don Roberto Jewelers, Inc. is seeking an organized and customer-focused IT Support Technician to join its IT team! This is a regular full-time opportunity that provides IT solutions and support for the organization’s corporate offices and retail stores. Domestic travel is required to support business operations, and the percentage of travel time varies by project. Our workweek is defined as Monday through Sunday and our operational hours are established at 12:00AM to 11:59PM.
This is a great opportunity to apply your technical skills while leveraging your retail experience in a fast-paced work environment that is remote tolerated with the Corporate Headquarters in San Clemente, California as the on-site work location.
Qualifications for the position include:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- 1 year proven experience in an IT helpdesk or technical role.
- 1 year retail and 1 year customer service experience.
- Bilingual Spanish/English required, additional language skills a plus.
- Working knowledge of POS systems, Windows OS, and basic networking.
Essential Duties:
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues over the phone.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining POS systems, PCs, peripherals, printers, and other hardware devices.
- Installing and updating Windows OS, Microsoft365 office applications and other application software.
- Managing and troubleshooting network connections, modems, routers, network switches, VPN, and firewalls to ensure reliable connectivity.
- Supporting IT best practices, security protocols, cybersecurity, firewall protection and anti-virus.
- Log all support requests within the company’s established ticketing system, update detailed steps taken, prioritize requests, and document resolution.
- Follow up on open tickets and communicate status updates to the user community.
- Other duties as assigned
