Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Manager to join our team at Don Stevens. This is an established territory with over $4 million in annualized sales, with significant growth potential. The geography is Southeastern WI and Northern Illinois and is supporting food service, coffee and hospitality industries. A successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing sales within an assigned territory, building strong relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of Don Steven’s core products and effectively convey product solutions to new and existing customers within the assigned territory.
- Create and implement a territory sales plan that meets or exceeds established sales quotas, while supporting the company's revenue and profit targets.
- Optimize the business development strategy by collaborating closely with the Vice President of Sales, ensuring maximum efficiency and time spent in the field.
- Meet regularly with existing customers and prospects to understand their evolving business needs and position product solutions that address these needs.
- Build and maintain long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with both existing and new customers.
- Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and prospects, being available and responsive to their real-time needs.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Conducts thorough analysis of competitor products, sales strategies, and marketing activities.
2. Represents the Company at industry meetings and events to advocate for and promote our products.
3. Collaborate effectively with internal support teams to ensure seamless operations.
4. Performs additional tasks and responsibilities as required.
Minimum Qualifications
· Excellent communication and presentation skills; both verbal and written.
· Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.
· Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
· Competitive spirit and results driven mentality.
· Strong problem-solving ability / organization and negotiation skills.
· Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
· Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
· Solid math and analytical skills.
· Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office products.
· Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Experience:
· Proven sales experience with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
· Minimum 5 years of sales experience preferably within the Foodservice industry, culinary, restaurant management, or hospitality.
Education / Certification:
· High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
· College degree preferred.
Licenses:
· Valid driver’s license required without driving restrictions.
Job Pay & Benefits:
