Dive Team Coach Application
We require staff to commit to the entire Dive season. All that apply will need to work after school in May and June. Those attending College outside of the area, please let us know in advance if you can't commit to working beginning to the end of the season.
Requirements
- Minimum age by May 12th. See below.
- Valid Lifeguard certified from the start of practice to the end of the season.
- Attend DRRA lifeguard training day.
- Know current NVSL rules.
- Foster principles of good sportsmanship and team spirit.
- Work cooperatively with the head coach, assistant coaches, and team representatives.
- Actively coach practices for the entire season. May 12th, through the NVSL Individual All-Stars in early August.
- Attend and actively coach all scheduled home and away meets.
- Engage in other team activities as determined by the team representatives.
- Be available for all team coaching meetings as the head coach and team representatives deem necessary.
- Attend and actively participate in all team social functions, including event set-up, clean-up, occasional pre-planning, errands, and other logistics.
Any variation to the above, such as in-season vacations and other activities, which could interfere with the above condition, MUST be listed on the application for Team Representatives' consideration.

The Application deadline is March 15th, *Returning staff hiring priority deadline is March 1st.
Must be able to pass a ten-year background check; any job offer will be based on the background check results.
