Front Desk Supervisor
Qualifications
- Ability to work 4-5 shifts per week for the season at DRRA May-Sept
- Ability to work preseason setup
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with the membership
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
Responsibilities
- Train all Front Desk staff on all aspects of the front desk responsibilities.
- Actively participates in all staff training days, including new staff training, front desk training, and lifeguard training.
- Work as an office administrator performing general office work.
- Complete front desk work schedules.
- Ensure the completion of timesheets for review by the General Manager.
- Update the DRRA website as related to the calendar and events.
- Oversee the picnic table reservations.
- Greet members of DRRA and their guests in a friendly, attentive, and helpful manner.
- Accurately check members and guests into the computer and resolve any problems associated with the check-in program.
- Enforce all pool rules and regulations.
- Be part of the Emergency Action Plan for the facility when necessary.
- Remain at the front desk at all times while on front desk check-in duty.
- Perform assignments given by the General Manager and Assistant Manager.
- Report all maintenance problems to the General Manager and Assistant Manager.
- Maintain a neat appearance and alert state of mind. Focus attention on the front desk activities.
- Wear uniform and appropriate clothing at all times.
- Complete daily reports, lessons, and classes and assist with parties.
- Give the manager reports and money to deposit in the safe.
- Conduct necessary cleaning to provide a safe, clean, and healthy environment.
- Represent Donaldson Run Recreation Association well when away from the pool in all other activities.
