Position(s) Required : Tester-Level II
Designated Work Location : Albany, NY
Mandatory Qualification :
Level II- Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience as a Tester
Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience in quality assurance managing testing across multiple high-profile projects, with complex functional domains, within a matrix organization
Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience developing and executing Automated Test Scripts
Desirable Qualifications :
Four (4) to Seven (7) years of work experience developing test plans, test cases, tracking defects and developing automated tests in an Agile / Scrum environment
Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience leading and managing functional test planning and test execution activities
Four (4) to Seven (7) of work experience with automated testing, using tools such as Selenium, Katalon Studio or related tools
Four (4) to Seven (7) of work experience in java scripting or related programing languages within the context of developing automated test script solutions
Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience conducting test management and defect management activities using Jira or other tools
Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience creating reports and dashboards for test metrics using Jira or other tools
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience reporting and presenting to stakeholders and senior management
Duties / Responsibilities :
Working for the QA Lead, the QA will :
Possess good understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies and participate in Daily stand-up meetings / Iteration Planning / Backlog refinement sessions and provide inputs as required
Possess knowledge and experience developing and executing Automated test scripts
Develop Testing artifacts (Sprint / Iteration level Workstream / Project level Test plans, Test scenarios, Test cases, Test scripts)
Perform test execution following the standards and guidelines established by the project
Log defects and track until closure following the IES Defect Management process
Assist with and coordinate Iteration review sessions (demo), Exploratory Testing and User Acceptance Testing with Business users
Coordinate and Assist with Performance testing, Vulnerability / Security testing and other non-functional testing activities
Establish schedules and estimates and adhere to Iteration timelines
Report project activities to management, including progress, risks, mitigations, issues, resolutions, successes, and lessons learned
Understand and adhere to project timelines and priorities
