Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscaping practices. This role involves maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of various landscapes, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. The Landscape Technician will work both independently and as part of a team, contributing to the overall success of our landscaping projects.

Responsibilities

• Utilize hand tools and machinery for various landscaping tasks, including digging, mowing, and trimming.
• Perform lawn care duties such as fertilization, aeration, and weed control.
• Build and maintain landscape features such as flower beds, pathways, and retaining walls.
• Conduct groundskeeping activities to ensure cleanliness and orderliness of outdoor spaces.
• Operate snow plowing equipment during winter months to maintain safe access to properties.
• Trim trees and shrubs to promote healthy growth and enhance visual appeal.
• Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
• Familiarity with lawn care techniques, snow plowing operations, tree trimming practices, and irrigation systems is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
