Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Residential Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and a commitment to providing exceptional service for homes in and around the Oakland/Washtenaw/Livingston/Wayne county areas. As a Residential Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our clients' homes, ensuring a welcoming environment for everyone.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas, adhering to established standards of cleanliness.
- Implement/maintain organizational systems of kid's playrooms, closets, pantries, garages, basements, and other cluttered room to create functionality.
- Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as needed.
- Manage, inventory, and stock housekeeping supplies.
- Stellar communication skills and report any issues to management.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working condition and used safely.
- Laundry services as required, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality by providing friendly service to guests during interactions.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Required residential cleaning experience necessary, preferably at least 2-4 years.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and effectively.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and residential cleaning practices is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays.
