Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician will work as a part of a multi-person team, be able to use mobile CMMS device, and have general knowledge of building system operations for a large facility in NW Washington. Base hours are Monday-Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with rotating weekends. Salary $29.00 per hour.
A typical day will look something like this:
- Change lights and ballasts
- Door closures, hinges and hardware
- Minor repairs
- Cutting and fitting suspended ceiling tiles
- Cutting and fitting carpet tiles, VCT etc.
- General knowledge of lamps and techniques to replace
- General light carpentry repairs
- General maintenance, including HVAC filter replacements, greasing bearings etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should be adaptable, capable of working independently and contributing effectively to a team environment. We are looking for an individual who is knowledgeable about building system operations, values the opportunity to gain experience, obtain licenses, and has a positive outlook and a strong work ethic. Must have your own tools.
