Director, Donor Family Services
DonorConnect is seeking a full-time Director, Donor Family Services to lead and oversee the Family Services program. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing initiatives that support donor families, while providing leadership and guidance to the Family Support and Aftercare Coordinators. Key responsibilities include monitoring and reporting on authorization rates, donor family satisfaction, and DonorConnect events, as well as offering emotional support, conflict resolution, and practical resources to donor families. The Director also manages the Celebration of Life Monument and COLM Gathering, oversees the editing of Heart to Heart, and ensures seamless planning and coordination of related programs.
As a member of the senior management team, the Director collaborates closely with other leaders to align goals and strategies. Additionally, they foster and maintain strong partnerships with AOPO, transplant centers, and tissue banking partners to advance DonorConnect's mission.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Training / Education / Certification :
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred and / or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- A minimum of three years of experience in management with progressive responsibility and demonstrated proficiency and expertise in directing policies and protocols
- Demonstrated experience in organ and tissue donation authorization training, strategy and team development
