Legal Secretary/paralegal
The Position
· Must have 5 years Insurance Defense Litigation;
· Familiarity with State and Federal court procedures and rules;
· Ability to work in a team-based setting with other Legal Secretaries supporting a group of attorneys;
· High degree of professionalism & dependability;
· Open to taking on new responsibilities and challenging tasks;
· Excellent organizational, analytical & problem-solving skills with the ability to integrate into a fast-paced environment;
· Excellent typing skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010 (Word, Outlook, Excel);
· Ability to coordinate depositions, travel, and expense reimbursements;
· Knowledge of opening new files, answering discovery, filing motions-pleadings, proper telephone etiquette, filing, faxing, maintaining and scheduling appointments for attorney as well as assisting in preparation of cases for trial and must be computer literate; and
· Exceptional attention to detail, ability to exercise good judgment, take initiative and follow through

Offering a competitive salary;
Three months’ probation followed by evaluation;
After eligibility period, position offers medical insurance, paid holidays and 401K;
Full-time Monday-Thursday 8:30 am – 5 pm & Fri 8:30 am – 4 pm
