Inside Sales Representative
Location: St. Petersburg, FL
Job Classification:
Full-time, salary-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing relationships with clients in the Southwest Florida area. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for quarterly commission, based on performance metrics.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business prospects to drive Doodie Call’s expansion through inbound efforts.
- Handle incoming requests, ensuring prompt responses to customer inquiries through phone and email channels.
- Prepare tailored quotes for customers, based on needs and company offerings.
- Work closely with scheduling team to ensure product deliveries meet customer expectations.
- Track all relevant qualification and lead management activity using CRM (including calls, prospect pipeline, quotes, etc).
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the sales process and assist them with product inquiries and quotes.
- Build strong client relationships to maintain old business and acquire new customers.
- Exercise the freedom to go beyond your designated role, contributing to Doodie Calls’ overall success.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to remain competitive in the marketplace.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in inside sales or a similar role
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
