We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Special Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Resort Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and managing various administrative tasks. This role requires a blend of hospitality expertise, strong organizational skills, and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Relations: Act as the point of contact for guests, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay. Provide personalized recommendations and services tailored to guest preferences.
Reservation Management: Oversee reservation processes, including booking, cancellations, and modifications. Maintain accurate records and manage the room inventory to maximize occupancy.
Event Coordination: Assist with on-site events such as weddings, corporate retreats, and special celebrations. Assist with aspects of running the Chapel when necessary.
Operational Oversight: Monitor daily operations, including check-ins, check-outs, towel exchanges, and store purchases. Maintain watercraft, dock, pool, grounds, water & sewer systems. Collaborate with contractors to ensure high standards of cleanliness and service are consistently met.
Administrative Duties: Handle administrative tasks such as processing payments and managing guest feedback. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Assist with training of new staff.
Housekeeping: Assist with stripping, prepping, and cleaning.
Marketing and Promotion: Assist with marketing efforts to promote the resort and attract new guests. Run the social media sites and maintain the website as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: Highschool Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Mgmt., Event Planning/Coordination, Business, or Communications is preferred.
Experience: 1 year of experience in hotel or resort industry is required for those without a college degree. Experience in a customer-facing role is highly valued.
