What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advance Practice Provider/Clinic Services - Podiatry position at Door County Medical Center?
The Advance Practice Provider will work in the Podiatry department in Clinic Services at Door County Medical Center. Services include- common podiatric issues such as pathologic bunions, hammer toes, ingrown nails, heel pain, diabetic foot management and foot and ankle surgery. This provider will work collaboratively with our Wound Care Team, helping with procedures such as wound debridement, TCC placement, suture removal, cortisone injections, splint removal, follow-up for routine post-op care and management of complications related to surgery.
Education Required: Graduate of an accredited advanced nurse practitioner program or physician assistant program. Master’s Degree required.
Credential/Licensure Required: Nurse Practitioners must have current licensure in the state of Wisconsin as a Registered Nurse. Current certification from a national certifying body approved by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing for Nurse Practitioners required. Physician Assistants must have current licensure in the state of Wisconsin. Valid Wisconsin’s Driver’s license and current CPR certification required.
