What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nutrition Technician - Nutritional Services - .8 FTE (32 horus a week) position at Door County Medical Center?
The Nutrition Technician oversees tray assembly, performs a variety of routine clerical tasks. Modifies menus, keeps records, and maintains Kardex files. Assists patients with menu selection, check tray line, and relays diet information to kitchen staff. Assists with meal surveys, and performs a variety of kitchen assignments including sanitation of work area, assists in all cleaning duties, preparing and serving food items, and other general duties as assigned. Assists station chef with tray line setup and preparation.
Minimum Education Required: High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
Minimum Related Years of Experience (per minimum education) Required: Clerical experience preferred.
Shift: Working 32 hours a week with weekend and holiday rotations. Primary Shift: 10:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
