What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respiratory Care Practitioner - Cardiopulmonary/Day's/Night's - .75 FTE (30 hours a week) position at Door County Medical Center?
The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) is a health care specialist under the medical direction of a physician in the assessment, treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation, and care of patients of various age groups with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
Education : Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the NBRC or achieve RRT within one year of hire. State License in Respiratory Care.
Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP.
Shift : Working 30 hours a week, variable shifts night shift : (6 : 00 p.m. - 6 : 00 a.m.) middle shift : (7 : 00 a.m. - 7 : 30 p.m.) with rotating weekends and holidays.
Shift differentials offered as a percentage of base rate : 10% for PM shift and 17% for night shift
