About the Role
DoorDash is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the City Fulfillment Network engineering team. This team is responsible for making DoorDash even more reliable when it comes to fulfilling all the items that customers order. If it’s available in your city, we’ll find it and deliver it to you.
As an Engineering Manager, you will partner closely with world class engineers, designers, product managers and operators for developing and developing highly visible features used by millions of users worldwide.

We're excited about you because you have…
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in people management leading full-stack teams (backend, web, & mobile) of 9 engineers
- 8 years of industry experience
- Extensive experience as an engineer in a fast-paced, product-focused development environment
- Experience with distributed system design, system scaling, and performance optimization
- Hands-on leadership, strong product intuition, and deep care for the customer
- Humility - willing to get into the details and open to feedback
- Growth mindset - you're eager to expand your skill set and excited to carve out your career path in a hyper-growth setting
- Adaptability, resiliency, and ability to thrive in ambiguity - things can change quickly, and you'll need to help the team evolve
