As the Manager, Sales Development you will lead a team of Sales Development Representatives who are responsible for targeting, engaging, qualifying and scheduling meetings with enterprise prospect organizations in the US & Canada
About the Role
Sales Development plays an integral role in DoorDash for Business’s continued growth in the US and Canada. In this role, you’ll lead a team of inbound & outbound SDRs responsible for targeting, engaging, qualifying and scheduling meetings with enterprise prospect organizations in the US & Canada. We are looking for a leader who can create, implement and manage strategies that generate new leads, build pipeline, and help achieve quarterly sales targets. A leader who is excited to build & develop a strong team culture and is eager to provide mentorship and coaching that uplevels their team, helping them to prepare for future roles.
You will report to our Senior Director of Sales and will work closely with Marketing, Product, Sales Operations, and Sales Leadership.

- Lead & Motivate: Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new SDRs in order to build a high-performing team. Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback as the SDRs grow & develop in their careers. Monitor team performance and establish a culture of accountability to ensure quotas are consistently met/exceeded. Maintain positive team morale.
- Strategize & Plan: Provide top-of-funnel support to our Account Executives so they can close deals and maximize direct selling time. Develop & implement new approaches for outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification. Innovate with marketing on demand generation campaigns, messaging, and target buying personas. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive intelligence and SDR best-practices
This team serves as the talent funnel for our full cycle sales roles, you will be responsible for growing your team's skillset and guiding their career development. - Perform: Track and report key performance metrics (ex. Weekly call/email activity, follow up time, meetings scheduled, conversion rate). Conduct regular team meetings and 1:1 session to review performance and progress. Maintain a strong standard of accountability and overperformance.
- Collaborate: You will work cross-functionally with leaders across multiple teams to ensure a seamless lead handoff process. Partner with marketing to refine lead qualification criteria. Share team progress, insights, and relevant updates to senior leadership on an ongoing basis.
