Responsibilities and Expectations
As a Shift Lead with DoorDash USA, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day tasks, guiding Operations Associates, and maintaining a safe and productive environment. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Executing orders accurately and communicating effectively with customers.
- Facilitating smooth Dasher pickups and ensuring timely delivery of customer orders.
- Guiding Operations Associates through their shifts, promoting a culture of safety and productivity.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols, and reporting any incidents or concerns.
- Providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
Additionally, you will be expected to contribute to improving our quality and customer experience by sharing innovative ideas and suggestions.
- Proven track record of success in food and beverage, warehouse, and/or retail environments.
- Ability to work on your feet, move heavy products, and lift up to 50 lbs (accommodations may be available).
- Capacity to obtain and maintain a food handling certificate (training provided by DoorDash).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (a college diploma is desirable but not required).
- Age 18 or older.
- Organizational skills and proficiency in Google Docs and Google Sheets.
- Flexibility in your schedule to accommodate various shifts per week.
