About the Role
You will bring DEI expertise to the Global Culture and Belonging Team and partner closely with the Global HRBP team to ensure that DoorDash is utilizing processes, programs, and policies that result in the hiring, development, advancement, and retention of underrepresented talent. You will also be an essential partner to senior leaders across both the business and the People Team. You will report to the Senior Manager, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and will be a key member on the DEI team. We are considering candidates across the U.S. This role can work remotely provided the candidate is open to travel when necessary.

- Build and connect the HRBP and Talent Management team with the resources, education, and materials needed to proactively support business leaders and employees with DEI opportunities and challenges
- Help the HRBPs seamlessly integrate DEI into their roles by creating consistency, clarity, and guidance around leveraging existing tools and resources (and building new tools where needed)
- Serve as a thought partner to the HRBPs and Talent Management team for strategic conversations with business leaders related to the growth, development and retention of underrepresented employees
- Work with the People Analytics team in partnership with the HRBPs to analyze performance, retention, and attrition data and provide data driven insights and opportunities
- Build trainings, microlearnings, and one-sheeters for the team to expand DEI acumen, cultural competencies, DEI best practices, benchmarks, and trends
- Drive fair and equitable processes that mitigate bias in all People Team lead initiatives (for example, Employee Voice Survey, Performance Management Cycle)
- Lead and support projects from idea to execution in order to scale and operationalize DEI across the HRBP team and the business

- 6 years professional experience; 4 years of experience in DEI or similar HR program management experience focused on employee experience or engagement (non-HR candidates will be considered with relevant experience)
- Have a bachelor's degree
- Have demonstrated experience articulating a vision, translating it into executable strategy and working cross functionally to accomplish the plan
- Have experience owning and managing projects end-to-end
- Are experienced in interpreting data and analytics to develop insights, tell stories, guide decisions and measure impact
- Are an inspirationational communicator and will influence across all levels of the organization, including leadership
- Thrive in ambiguity and are able to work independently while also bringing internal partners along
- Are flexible in a fast paced work environment and have the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently while paying close attention to detail
- Have strong group facilitation skills and know how to navigate challenging conversations with lead with warmth, curiosity, and empathy

Pursuant to the Colorado Fair Pay Act, the base salary range in Colorado for this position is $130,050 - $175,950, plus opportunities for equity and commission. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
